This morning Saint Pius X had a wonderful mass. The mass was for the Grandparents, we celebrate it every year or once a year. After the mass the Grandparents went to a morning tea which Room 7 planned. There were biscuit, oranges and sponge cakes there too oh and coffee and tea.
Since it’s was only the grandparents, students and principal as well as our teacher. The students went and made company with the grandparents.
I met Nikos and Harris’s granddad, they were from Greece. Since I love Greece and hope to visit their I asked question about Greece and with surprise Mr Coakley play a Greece song. After the tea, Sonya and I and some other students from room 7 went inside the hall to organise the hall for the speech. Sonya and I were the MC or host. We were so excited to get the good news, but we couldn’t let our excitement ruin the organisation.
During the speeches Fanolli's Grandpa came and talked to us. Since we Sonya and I just got the news we were finding it hard to write our script.
When the speeches were done, we ended it with a nice sausage sizzle - BBQ.
Ice Blocks were also included. When the sausage sizzle finished it didn’t end there, we played music and all the students came in and joined. Teachers also joined in too. Everyone were so happy because we were all dancing and no one was shy, we all showed our talents as well as singing.
We played a couple of songs that just released, old pop songs, and songs that were very old. The bell rang for the last block. Everyone got into their classes and packed up their classroom. My highlights today was when everyone joined in the dance. It’s was like a big family coming together. I enjoyed every second of it. There's still more to come before the holidays ! I’m really gonna miss Saint Pius X School , Students , teachers , staff and of course our principle. I believe there's more to come .
