I am David - An Attack and Rescue

Here is a Google draw that I made of the second chapter of " I am David ". This time it was David trying out hitch-hiking, and got a lift from a friendly lorry driver.While they were exploring in the forest.David was disturbed by an unfamiliar sound.

God's Taonga in God's Church

This is a Google draw that I made, that has  all  of the gifts that I use to help my church or show during church.There a 3 things I use in God's house, 1. is Voice. I use my voice to sing in choirs or read the gospel. 2. Help, I use my help to help clean the church when it's needed and fix small things inside the church.Last one is participant, I join in choirs, activities that my church has organised.

Basic fact test

On this basic fact test, it's went very very good.My score was 39/40, just one wrong.I know I went well because I got 3 activities all right and 1 problem wrong.

So today, I thought I could do another basic facts test, to see if I got anything correct and I did.So last time it was bad because I got some right and a couple wrong.This time I got a couple of them right and some wrong.My score was 35/40, in stage 6. Next time, my goal is to get my score 40 out of 40, or let's just say get everything right. :)

Home Learning

So for this weekend, I will be spending my time on home learning.

It's doing extra work in the weekend.I made this as in my DLO, a DLO in my class means Digital Learning Online, this is also made on Tagul. Basic facts test

Today for my basic facts test, I did okay on this test because I got most of them right.The score for my test was 51/60.Next time, my goals is to learn grouping within 1000 because I got them wrong.

My virtue Tree

This is my DLO of my virtue tree.The virtue in the tree trunk is Loving or Love.It's also the virtue I think I show the best.Then all of the virtues on the leave and the bottom are the virtues that I need to use to show the virtues of Loving.They are also the virtues I need to show.I hope you enjoy.This is also part of Religious Education ( GOD STRAND)

God Strand- Virtues

Today for Religious Education we had to write a list of virtues that God have gifted me, I made this at Tagul.I love how it's turns out and  I am very proud to share my family and anyone who is with me, with these virtues that God has gifted me.

What has God Given me?

Twin	Family	Friends	Teachers
God has given me a twin who is funny, loving and caring.I’m so thankful for a Twin, because I am the only one who has a twin in my classroom and in my school	God has given me a family who is kind, loving , honest and filled with music also laughter.	God has given me friends who are kind, smart,funny but at the same time they are unique and special.	God has given me teachers who teach me very well and I’m thankful for that.Because they encourage me in my learning.

God has gifted me with these people  and they become part of my life.  Te Atua has given me a Mahanga , Te Utuafare, hoa and Kaiako. I'm very thankful for that.

I am David - Helping the Americans

So today for reading we've read I AM DAVID, and this time we came across David helping out the Americans.David is spending his time near Salerno, but when people becomes curious about him he becomes scared.. Here is a Google draw that I have made of David being confident travelling by himself...

God Strand - God Is...

Today for Religious Education, we had to Draw our hand on our R.E book, and in the middle of our palm we had to write God is... And on the fingers were words that describe God... I also love how I mixed the colours together, in the background.It's makes the words on my hand draw stand out.. If you can't see the words because of the background here is what they say : God is , Caring , Kind, Loving, Humble and Holy. This is also part of our God Strand, for R.E:)

Dear Holy spirit, please help me  to always take the right decision in everything I do in school, just like King Solomon.Come Holy spirit, fill our hearts with the fire of your love.I also ask you to give me courage in everything I do throughout the year.I ask you to lead me to  the right path, and to have wisdom and be wise.Thank you Holy spirit for giving me trust, faith and love in myself.I ask you to guide my mind, and my heart from temptation. AMEN

Anzac silhouette painting

So this week room 7 has been painting a silhouette about Anzac day.Here is my painting, at the background you can see the dawn of the sun and the earth, at night.

I enjoyed painting a silhouette about Anzac, I now realize how important Anzac is to everyone, here at New Zealand. :)

I AM DAVID - Chapter 1 :)

So This week room 7 has been reading " I AM DAVID".The story is about this young boy who is about 12 years old who grew up at concentration camp.One day a guard told David to escape, David did not understand why a guard would tell him that.David kept on thinking it might be a trap. So we had to create a Google draw, and draw your favourite part of the book.My one is when David is thinking about the guard, instructions.

Swimming Collage

Here is a collage about Room 7's First Swimming Lessons. In these past few weeks we have been learning about lots and lots of different skills. Their are skills you can if you are stuck on the beach/ocean. I would like like to give a big thank you to our 2 instructors who are Emma and Joseph for coming to Saint Pius to teach us how to swim, and also to pam too... I really enjoyed swimming and will definitely use these skills alot..... :)
